Dunn Bros. Coffee Lake St. and Bryant Ave., Uptown

I’ve had 6 of my largest windows hanging at this coffeeshop since the beginning of September. In a couple of weeks I will hang 13 skeleton windows for Halloween and Day of the Dead through November. Gotta finish Pink Twist soon. photos: Bodil Diseth

  1. Congratulations on having your pieces on display at Dunn Brothers.

Your skeleton images are scary! The one you had in your kitchen window - "bomb" - the skeleton with the red, white, and blue popsicle - has an intense, psychedelic quality.

I really like the "Old painted window" pieces - they are beautiful and remind me of a Van Gogh painting.

I look at stained glass with a new appreciation now. We are going to Paris in November and I am looking forward to seeing the stained glass in Notre Dame, especially the rose windows. It is shocking to think some of these were actually smashed in the 18th century. I think of the work you put into your pieces and imagine how much effort and craftsmanship went into those huge medieval cathedral windows.

It is really interesting to see the evolution of your pieces on this site. - John
