Ready to frame

Finally finished with the Galaxy-Maker and Polkabot. Now just have to frame them. Took a low-angle shot of the Polkabot so you can see the pattern in the glass that makes up his body. It’s a sheet of Taffeta.

Polkabot— color

Here it is in color. My stained glass time has been seriously cut into by freelance work (I’m not complaining). This window has taken longer than I had planned but still on track to finish by end of week. I just need to cut the glass for its border, solder it and frame it. I meet with a coffee shop owner today to figure out how we’ll hang 6 of these big windows for June.

Polkabot progress

The window is slowly coming together. The head is done and most of the body. Cutting it into the background piece will be last along with the rest of the bubbles. Trying to finish this and build one more big window before the end of May.

Dives and Lazarus windows

Two windows that were recently restored at Gaytee Stained Glass Studios. They’re from a small Catholic Church in St. Paul and I can’t remember the name at the moment. Beautiful classical painting, the green satan blew me away. Great hand and tail, just love it all.

Heaven and Hell

It’s been a little of both lately, but mostly heaven. All of the red pieces are salvaged painted scrap, the top a newer piece of ring-mottle.
